Loïc de Poix Bio Loic de Poix, MPO International Loïc de Poix is Chairman of the Board of MPO International. Founded by his parents 50 years ago, MPO is the first European independent discs optical manufacturer family group owner. With 3 plants in Asia and in Europe, MPO has branched out into Print & Packaging, Digital Services, and Logistics & Distribution services. MPO also invested in 2 Blu Ray lines starting the production of its first productions of DVD 50 on its own mastering earlier in September. Loïc de Poix joined the family group in 1978 as an Export Manager. Joined by his brother in 1983, they developed the Compact Disc in France making of MPO the first CD manufacturer plant in Europe after PHILIPS, the inventor. The expansion was then extremely rapid with the opening of plants in Canada, Spain Asia, Ireland and UK. In 1996, they produced the first DVD as well as Recordable Dics under MPO’s own brand name , Hi-Space. Graduated from EDC, a Business School, Paris, France, Loïc de Poix completed Management courses at INSEAD. He is also mayor of its commune in Mayenne, France . He has his offices in Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris) and Averton (Mayenne) in France where the head office is based. Sep 22, 2008, 10:06 Eisuke Tsuyuzaki Eisuke “SK” Tsuyuzaki has served as the Managing Director of Panasonic Hollywood Lab and concurrently as Vice President of Panasonic R&D Company of America since February 2005. Both the Hollywood Lab and Panasonic R&D Company of America are units of Panasonic Corporation of North America, the principal U.S. subsidiary of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (NYSE: MC). In these positions Mr. Tsuyuzaki oversees operations of the Hollywood Lab, leads the company’s Blu-ray Disc authoring and replication task forces, directs Panasonic’s Blu-ray Disc format promotion in North America and acts as a liaison for Matsushita Electric with the Hollywood creative and entertainment production communities. Prior to joining Panasonic, Mr. Tsuyuzaki served in leadership positions within the corporate strategy and business development functions of Sony Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Columbia-Tristar Motion Pictures. Mr. Tsuyuzaki holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Sophia University in Tokyo and certificates from UCLA in Film, Television, Video & New Media as well as marketing and management of entertainment products. He attended Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Tsuyuzaki received his earlier education in the U.K., and is proud to have earned seven “O” Level certificates from the Oxford and Cambridge Schools Exam Board. Mr. Tsuyuzaki is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers as well as Finance & Accounting Managers in Entertainment. Harald Kraushaar studied Chemistry, specializing in biochemistry, at the University of Vienna, Austria, where he received his master degree in 1989 and his PhD in 1992.
