Loïc de Poix
Bio Loic de Poix,  MPO International


Loïc de Poix is Chairman of the Board of MPO International. Founded by his parents 50 years ago, MPO is the first European independent discs optical manufacturer family group owner. With 3 plants in Asia and in Europe,  MPO has branched out into Print & Packaging,  Digital Services, and Logistics & Distribution services.  MPO also invested in 2 Blu Ray lines starting the production of its first productions of DVD 50 on its own mastering earlier in September.

Loïc de Poix joined the family group in 1978 as an Export Manager.  Joined by his brother in 1983, they developed the Compact Disc in France making of MPO the first CD manufacturer plant in Europe after PHILIPS, the inventor.  The expansion was then extremely rapid with the opening of plants in Canada, Spain Asia, Ireland and UK. In 1996, they produced the first DVD as well as Recordable Dics under MPO’s  own brand name ,  Hi-Space.

Graduated from EDC, a Business School, Paris, France, Loïc de Poix completed Management courses at INSEAD.  He is also mayor of its commune in Mayenne, France .

He has his offices in Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris) and Averton (Mayenne) in France where the head office is based.

Neil Goodall
Neil Goodall is the CEO of Testronic Labs, the global Quality Assurance company to the Home Entertainment industry. Since joining the company, Neil has overseen the acquisition of its hardware division, enabling Testronic to offer testing of any content onto any medium and any device. In 2005 the company opened a facility in Warsaw dedicated to the home entertainment industry whilst Testronic’s Burbank and Pinewood offices work closely with major studios on the development of ground-breaking Blu-ray and digital content delivery projects.

Prior to joining Testronic Labs, Neil was European Managing Director of Tescom, the IT testing and quality assurance company. Before this, as Banking Director for Post Office Ltd, he was responsible for introducing online banking services into 17,500 retail outlets across the UK. This £3 billion project was hailed as one of Europe’s largest, most successful IT-based projects, receiving commendation from the UK Prime Minister.

Eisuke Tsuyuzaki
Eisuke “SK” Tsuyuzaki has served as the Managing Director of Panasonic Hollywood Lab and concurrently as Vice President of Panasonic R&D Company of America since February 2005. Both the Hollywood Lab and Panasonic R&D Company of America are units of Panasonic Corporation of North America, the principal U.S. subsidiary of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (NYSE: MC). In these positions Mr. Tsuyuzaki oversees operations of the Hollywood Lab, leads the company’s Blu-ray Disc authoring and replication task forces, directs Panasonic’s Blu-ray Disc format promotion in North America and acts as a liaison for Matsushita Electric with the Hollywood creative and entertainment production communities. Prior to joining Panasonic, Mr. Tsuyuzaki served in leadership positions within the corporate strategy and business development functions of Sony Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Columbia-Tristar Motion Pictures. Mr. Tsuyuzaki holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Sophia University in Tokyo and certificates from UCLA in Film, Television, Video & New Media as well as marketing and management of entertainment products. He attended Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Tsuyuzaki received his earlier education in the U.K., and is proud to have earned seven “O” Level certificates from the Oxford and Cambridge Schools Exam Board. Mr. Tsuyuzaki is a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers as well as Finance & Accounting Managers in Entertainment.

Harald Kraushaar, PhD

Harald Kraushaar is Vice President of Sony DADC Austria, in charge of Recording Media Business, New Business and Environment and Labour Safety.

He joined Sony DADC Austria in 1991. Previous positions held include Head of Environmental Management and Head of MD-Recordable Business.

Harald Kraushaar studied Chemistry, specializing in biochemistry, at the University of Vienna, Austria, where he received his master degree in 1989 and his PhD in 1992. He received the pre-diploma in law from the University of Salzburg in 1996 and completed Management Courses at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Dieter Daum
Dieter Daum is CEO of Sony DADC Global and President of Sony Disc and Digital Solutions Inc., a Tokyo based subsidiary of Sony Corp. In this capacity he has global responsibility for Sony’s worldwide disc business. Sony DADC is a global supply chain partner to the entertainment industry and operates facilities in the US, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, India, China, Australia and Japan.

Previous positions of Mr. Daum include CEO of Sony DADC Austria, EVP Sales & Manufacturing, Sony DADC Austria, as well as Chief Production Officer at Sony Europe.

Before joining Sony in 1986, Dieter Daum had been working in the semiconductor industry with over four years at Austria Microsystems International, a manufacturer of application specific integrated circuits, leaving the company as its Vice President of Engineering.

Dieter Daum studied Electronics Engineering at the Technical University Graz, Austria, where he received his Masters Degree in 1977, and completed Management Courses at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mr. Daum has offices in New York, Tokyo and Salzburg, Austria.
